The Five Steps
1. Pause — Take one breath before the water runs. Choose the energy you want to carry into this moment.
2. Intend — Hold the bar under the water. Name something you want to call in — clarity, rest, release. One word is enough.
3. Lather — Move slowly. Breathe in the scent as it opens in the steam. Notice where you're holding tension and let the lather find it.
4. Rinse — Let something go with the water. You don't have to name it. Just release it.
5. Return — Notice how you actually feel. Smooth in the body butter if you have it. Carry the shift with you.

I didn't set out to make soap. I set out to find my way back to something slower — something that honored the body instead of asking more of it.
